Pastor Lee B. Walker Jr. is a forward-thinking spiritual leader, visionary strategist, and community builder who serves as the Senior Pastor of New Home Mt. Meigs in Montgomery, Alabama. Since his installation in August 2019, the church has experienced remarkable growth, with over 1,200 individuals joining the ministry under his leadership.
A Montgomery native, Pastor Walker is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Alabama A&M University, where he majored in Music Education. He is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at United Theological Seminary. In recognition of his impactful service to faith and community, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humanitarianism by the Global International Alliance.
Pastor Walker is a proud graduate of the Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class XLI and the James W. Wright Leadership Development Institute. He currently serves on the Council of the Young Pastors’ Division for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship and is a member of the Ambassadors Assembly under the leadership of Dr. E. Dewey Smith.
He is also the founder of Elevation Consulting, LLC, a ministry-focused consulting firm that equips pastors and churches with tools for strategic growth, cultural relevance, and digital engagement.
In addition to his pastoral and leadership roles, Pastor Walker is an anointed vocalist and a member of the legendary gospel quartet group, The Alabama Boys. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
He is married to his elementary school sweetheart, Mrs. VaTedra Ashley Walker, an educator and community leader. Together, they are the proud parents of two children: Kennedy and Lee III.
Pastor Walker lives by the words of 1 Corinthians 9:22b (ESV): “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.”
